Last year, as part of Internet Safety Day, the UK Council for Child Internet Safety launched the ‘Education for a Connected World’ initiative.  It’s aim is to educate and inform children and parents about internet safety, and proposes a framework that parents, teachers and other education bodies such as Barnardos and the NSPCC have been actively participating with. Although the site is still in its consultation phase, it has relevance to all educational and pastoral stakeholders that want to create opportunities and create affirmative dialogues that can affect positive change in children and young adults, from early infancy to eighteen year olds.

Please take a look to see the work being done and the opportunities for educating your children in nurturing a safe ongoing online experience.
